Unit 54 - Sauna and Cold Plunge Terms and Conditions
Welcome to our new recovery area! To ensure a safe, hygienic, and relaxing environment for all members, please carefully read and follow these guidelines when using the sauna and cold plunge facilities. Your cooperation helps maintain a clean and enjoyable space for everyone.
General Rules

Time Limits: Each session is limited to the time specified in your booking. Please arrive on time to ensure the full use of your session. Late arrivals may not receive an extension.
Children: Minors (under 18 years) are not permitted to use the sauna or cold plunge unless specifically approved by gym management.
Cleanliness: Always leave the area as you found it. Dispose of any rubbish in the bins provided and wipe down surfaces if necessary.
Health and Safety:
Use at Your Own Risk: Members are responsible for their own health and safety. Individuals with medical conditions (e.g., heart disease, high blood pressure, or pregnancy) should consult a physician before using the sauna or cold plunge.
Do not use the facilities under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medications that may impair your ability to use them safely.
If you feel faint, dizzy, or experience any discomfort, exit the facility immediately and notify staff.
Avoid using the facilities if you are feeling unwell, have open wounds, or have consumed alcohol or recreational drugs.
Hygiene Requirements
Shower Before Use:
If you have just finished a workout, you must shower (using the outdoor shower) before entering the sauna or cold plunge.
You must also shower in between the sauna and cold plunge.
Please ensure you pat dry before entering the sauna
Towel Usage: You’ll need two towels. One to sit on in the sauna to prevent sweat from contacting the benches and an additional face towel to wipe sweat as required.
Footwear: Wear jandals or clean, non-slip footwear (e.g., Crocs) in the recovery area at all times including inside the sauna
Clothing: Wear appropriate swimwear or gym attire. Nude use of the facilities is not permitted.
Sauna-Specific Rules
No Water on the Rocks: To preserve the sauna equipment, do not pour water directly onto the rocks. Use the provided spray bottle for a light mist if needed.
Time Limit: Limit sauna sessions to 15-20 minutes per sitting. Allow your body adequate time to cool down between sessions. Please refer to and adhere to the Sauna Protocols.
Silence and Respect: Maintain a quiet environment to respect others using the space. Keep conversations low & respectful.
Cold Plunge-Specific Rules
Limit your time in the cold plunge to 3-5 minutes per session.
Do not submerge your head unless comfortable and experienced.
Enter and exit the cold plunge slowly to avoid slipping or injury.
Additional Guidelines
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water before and after using the sauna and cold plunge to avoid dehydration.
Respect Staff Instructions: Follow all staff directions regarding the use of the recovery area. Failure to comply may result in restricted access.
Liability
Assumption of Risk: By using the sauna and cold plunge, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with their use, including but not limited to dehydration, overheating, or shock.
Liability Waiver: The gym and its staff are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or adverse health effects resulting from the use of the facilities.
Damage: Users are responsible for any damage to the facilities or equipment caused by misuse or negligence.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
Modifications: We reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via email and posted on our website.
